Garden Suite Luxury Wedding Package

A wedding breakfast and evening reception for memories that will last a lifetime.

Our luxury packages are for a minimum of 40 guests and include:

  • White linen and napkins

Garden Suite Winter Package

Available for weddings between November – March, our winter package is for 40-day guests and 80 evening guests and includes:

  • Civil ceremony room hire
  • A Toastmaster

  • White linen and napkins

  • Use of our cake stand and knife
  • Evening 4-item finger buffet

Asian Weddings

At Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel we have hosted hundreds of self-catered weddings and events, so our experience is second to none.

We can offer you a personalised service providing a flexible room layout to suit your requirements for your celebrations with family and friends.

We welcome working with outside caterers and can work with approved suppliers. We provide a kitchen area to prepare your event food, your caterers may want to provide all the serving dishes and platters, ensuring you have the best possible food and overall experience.

We also supply a wedding host and can provide bar staff if required, giving you as much or as little support as you need.

There are various drinks options available, it’s no problem to us if you’d like the event to be alcohol-free. We’ll design a drinks package to suit you or you can supply your own drinks.

Our Asian Weddings package option includes:

  • Our Duty Manager to support your day
  • Use of our landscaped grounds for your photographs
  • Room hire
  • Celebration room fully set up with tables and chairs to your agreed seating arrangement

Wedding FAQs 

Your wedding is one of the most special and exciting days of your life and our hotel is here to ensure you can have the wedding you and your partner have dreamed of!

What Covid-19 safety measures are in place for weddings at the hotel? 

Our hotel has enhanced Covid health and safety measures in place for all our guests and staff, which comply with the Government’s guidelines and are part of Accor’s ALLSAFE Covid policy.

Our teams will also take extra care to ensure your wedding at our hotel is as safe and enjoyable as possible.  

Will we lose our original deposit for any wedding bookings that need to move into 2022 or be cancelled? 

If you’d like to move your wedding to 2022, you won’t lose your deposit! Simply speak to our team to pick your wedding date and they will arrange this for you, subject to availability.  

Please note that if you need to cancel your wedding our hotel will be retaining the deposit.  

Will our overall wedding price increase? 

We are freezing our current wedding package prices until end of 2021.  

However, if you’d like to change the day of your wedding or the season it takes place in, this would be subject to a price review and we will discuss this further with you. Weddings moving to 2022 are subject to a price increase. 

Will the bedroom allocation or price remain constant with our date move? 

Yes, any bedrooms booked directly with our hotel as part your wedding will be moved to the new 2021 date as per the original booking rates and number of rooms (subject to availability). Bookings moving to 2022 are subject to a price increase. 

Any bookings made via a third party will be subject to their terms and conditions. 

We have booked our bedrooms via Booking.com, or other online third parties, and our rate is non-refundable. Can we get a refund? 

These bookings will be subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party website that they were booked with. Please contact them directly for more information.  

Will my wedding payment terms still be the same? 

Your payment terms will improve! We are now asking for your 50% payment only 6 weeks before your big day and the final balance 14 days in advance of your wedding date.   

Terms and conditions at the time of booking will apply to weddings taking place after 30th November 2021.  

Will our wedding food or drinks menu change? 

At this point, we don’t anticipate any changes in our menus, however, if there are any changes we will notify you as soon as possible. 

Should we start thinking of postponing our wedding? 

We can only advise guests to follow the most recent version of the government’s Covid guidelines. However, we are happy to discuss your wedding at any time and give you the opportunity to discuss other options if you would like to make any changes. 

What will happen if we cancel our wedding? 

If you have any concerns about your wedding date, please contact our team to discuss this further. We’re happy to work with all our couples to find a solution if possible, and deliver your perfect wedding day! 

We have contacted our registrar/church, but they have not come back to us yet. Can you hold the date for us until we have an answer? 

Yes! We will provisionally hold the date for 7 days. At this stage, you’ll then need to let us know whether you’d like to keep the date or work with you to find a new date. 

Will all my wedding payments be moved across to my new date? 

Yes, absolutely! All payments will be moved to your new date. 

My wedding guest numbers are going to decrease as a few of my guests will not be able to make it. Can we amend or reduce our package? 

Wedding guest numbers will need to comply with any government guidelines in place at the time. However, we will allow guest numbers to be reduced by 10% for any weddings taking place in 2021 if you need to change this.

Kerry (Weddings & Events Executive)

Hello, my name is Kerry, and I am one of the Weddings & Events Executives here at Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel. I have worked in Weddings and Events since 2017 and love every aspect of the job, from getting to meet new people, discussing their Wedding plans, and then seeing them reach reality on the day.  

I will be one of the first people you speak to when enquiring about holding your wedding with us, and I am always happy to answer any questions you may have.  

I will also be on hand throughout the process to make sure your planning is stress-free and to ensure that the day is a magical one that you will both remember. 

When I’m not busy planning Weddings and Events, I love to spend time with my family and two miniature dachshunds going for walks in the lovely Yorkshire countryside. 

My top three Wedding day planning tips:

  1. There are no rules with Weddings, and it’s about making your wedding personal to you to ensure the day reflects you both as a couple. 
  2. Try not to overthink the décor, and sometimes the simple touches are the nicest. 
  3. Why not create a music playlist of your favourite songs or match your theme that we can play during your Wedding breakfast to add that personal touch.

Hi, I’m Emma, one of the Weddings & Events Executives here at Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel. 

However you choose to contact us about holding your special day here, I will be one of the first people you will speak to. 

Organising a wedding can become a very overwhelming task, with everyday life often becoming an obstacle. Being a parent and wedding planner myself, I can fully understand and appreciate this and why I am here! To take away any worries or concerns and make your planning an enjoyable, fun, and memorable experience. 

From your first enquiry, right up to your special day, I will be on hand to ensure every detail is covered and that your day is everything you hoped for. 

Nothing makes me happier than seeing all the details we have worked through come together on the day and seeing the expressions on your guests’ faces as they enter our fabulous wedding suites.  

My top three Wedding Tips:

  1. Make the planning fun. With so much to think of, planning a wedding can be stressful. Celebrate every part of the planning, from dress fittings to finalising décor, with drinks or afternoon tea with your bridal party! 
  2. Use tools such as Pinterest to put together your ideas. This will help you to transform your vision into reality.
